Seoul runs five outdoor media art displays this autumn, and most light up around 7 p.m. They run to November 30, except Ogansugyo (to the end of February 2027) and Noeul Island, which ends October 31. The art is projected on building walls or under a bridge, so you just walk up and look. Here are the places, hours and nearest exits in one spot. Checked on: 2026-10-12

What is a media facade?
A media facade uses the outside wall of a building as a screen. There’s no seat and no ticket line: you walk by and look up. Each work plays for a few minutes and the program repeats.

Putting it together
- Gwanghwamun + Haechi Plaza: just across the street from each other, so see both in one stop. The Haechi Plaza wall runs from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Ogansugyo: at the end of the Cheonggyecheon stream, an easy add-on to an evening walk.
- Seoullo Media Canvas: close to Seoul Station, handy before or after a train.
Check the Seoul city culture site before you go.
Good for
- An evening walk with some art along the way, no ticketed show (see the cost question below)

- Anyone who wants art without a museum visit
Before you go

- Ogansugyo is listed to Feb 28, 2027. The dates in the table are each spot’s own listing.
FAQ
What time should I go? Most start at 7 p.m.; Seoullo starts at 6 p.m. Go after dark so the image is sharp.
Can I see Gwanghwamun and Seoul Station on the same night? Both run until 11 p.m., so yes, once you pick an order.
